Delta Sigma Pi Delta Sigma Pi is a profess ional fra ternity, whi ch is limited to s tud ents in the School of Bus in ess. Our orga ni za ti on foc uses on deve loping persona l and p ro fessiona l ski Us, as well as g iving back to the communi ty. Our professional events give us the opportunity to connec t th e fra ternity to th e p ro fessional world , and provid e us with networking opportunities . Spea kers a t our events include Delta Sig a lumni, fa culty and staff, and gues t speakers from loca l bus inesses. This yea r our community se rvice events consis ted of soup kitchens and national parks and beach cl ea nups. Our main soc ia l event every yea r is our banquet, which takes place follow ing Initia ti on Ceremo rues. Other socia l events include theme ni ght p arties, barbecues, and retreats. Beca use we a re a nonprofit organiza tion, the money tha t we fund raised went to putting on these events. Our main event this year was a golf tournament. We also held car washes, sold T-shirts, a nd rece ived co rpo ra te sponso rships. This fa ll we were honored to ho ld the Firs t Annual Pac ific Coas t Reg ion Initi a ti on. De lta Sigs from all over Southern California came to USO to initia te th eir new bro thers. Present there was the Grand President of the Fra ternity, as well as our Prov incial Vice Pres id ent, Reg iona l Direc tor, Dis trict Di rec tors, and many a lumni. In the spring, several of our members a ttend ed the Wes te rn LEAD Prov incia l Conference in Las Vegas . Trus confe rence foc used on be tte r lea de rship sk ills and building a s tronger chap ter. We had a grea t yea r and hope for an even bette r one nex t yea r.
