The Association of Chicana Activists

The Association of Chicana Activists began in the Fall of 1995. The objective of the organization is to promote higher education to chicana/ catinas. It seeks to transform women, charging individuals with the desire for freedom, self-determination, and self– sufficiency. It is a training ground that polishes women's leadership skills, empowering chicanas to move within positions of power. We sponsor speakers, activities, and programs on issues that effect women.
