Brian Fogarty enters hi s fifth yearas USD's Associate Director o f Athl eti cs fo r Athl eti c Deve lopment. He took over thi s post after spending thirteen years as USD's head foot– ball coach. He directed USD's football pro– gram to eleven seasons o f .500 or better records and guided the ir move from the Division Ill

Yourg oversees foo tball , baseball , men's basketball , go lf, men's soccer, and men's and women's tenni s. In additi on, he is the depart– ment li aison to USD 's Financial Aid Office.

Yourg received hi s Bachelor's (Socio logy, 1980) and Master's (Soc ial Work , 1986) degrees from the Uni versity of Wi sconsin, where he was a nose guard on the Badgers' football team. Dan and hi s wife Virg ini a, a USO alumnus, are the parents of three sons, John , Tom and Mike.

Besides being a two-time team capta in, she was honored each season as team MVP and was a four– time All -SCIAC selection . She earned her Master's in Phys ical Educati on with a concentrati on in Athletic Admini stration at Springfi e ld College in Massachu setts. Wendy ga ined experi ence working with the Co lorado Sports Counc il and the US Olympic Committee at the 1994 US Ol ympi c Festi va l in St. Loui s, Mi ssouri, and was the Director of Award s Ceremoni es at the 1995 Olympic Festival in Denver. She also served in corporate hospitality at the 1996 Ol ympic Games in Atl anta. Carolyn Greer Head Athletic Trainer A 1975 graduate of San Diego State Uni – versity with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ph ys ica l Edu ca tion , Carol yn went on to earn her Master's in Sports Medi cine in 1978. Over the years she has taught classes in Sports Medi cine and had numerou s artic les published in a vari ety o f j ournals. She oversees sixteen intercoll eg iate teams and approx imate ly 390 USO student– athletes on a yearl y bas is. The Sports Medi cine sta ff provides injury preventi on, immedi ate care. and rehabilitati on for USD 's intercolle– g iate athletes. Caro lyn, and her hu sband Jeff, res ide in the Pac ifi c Beach area o f San Diego with the ir two boys, Dav id and Jason. Carol yn Greer enters her twenty-third year as the Head Certified Athl eti c T ra iner for the Uni versity o f San Diego athl etic department. She is ass isted by Suzi Hi ggins and Paul Signore lli.

Prior to that she was Promoti ons Assistant at the University of Florida in Gainesvill e, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Journali sm-Broadcast Sequence from the University o f Mi ssouri-Columbia in May, 199 1. She went on to earn her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Sports Admini stra– tion from Wichita State Uni versity in August, 1993. Ted Gosen Sports Information Director

Ted Gosen is in hi s 19th year serving as USD 's Director of Sports In formation. He handl es publi city and publicati ons for all USO Athl eti cs teams, in addition to hosting med ia at USO events. He is assisted by Me li ssa Turley. In 198 1 Ted received hi s Master's of Sci–

A 1979 gradu ate of San Jose State Uni versity, he earned hi s Bache lor of Sc ience degree in Business Admini strati on. In additi on to hi s SID duties, Ted is a member of the College Sports In fo rmati on Directors o f America (CoSIDA); ass ists the USO Hall of Fame Committee; is athl etics editor fo r 'Vo ices,' a uni versity publi ca– tion that is publi shed six times a year; and teaches a bowling c lass through the USO rec reati on department. Ted and hi s wife Terri , a 1983 USO graduate, res ide in Poway with the ir fo ur daughters: Katie, Co ll een, Claire and Erin .
