GREG QUICK Offensive Coordinator & Offensive Line Coach Greg Quick returns for his second season where he will again be the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line coach. Prior to coming to USD, he was head coach at St. Norbert College, an NCAA Division 111 program in De Pere, Wisconsin, for five seasons. Included in his 21-25 career mark was a 6-3 finish and a tie for the North Division title in 1994; a 5-4 record with a North Division runner-up finish in 1996. In 1998 the Green Knights finished 5-5 overall. Prior to St. Norbert, the Painesville, Ohio native was head coach at the University of Ch icago, where he rebuilt the program, culminating in a 5-5 record in 1993 , the most wins since the Amos Alonzo Stagg team of 1929. His teams led the NCAA Division III in total rushing yards his last two seasons. Other coaching stops have included C laremont-Mudd Colleges (Def. Coor.; 1988-89), Edinboro University (Def. Coor.; 1986-88), New Mexico State (LB's; 1985-86), Heidelberg Coll ege (Off. Coor.; 1984-85), St. Edward HS (Def. Coor.; 1983 -84), and Emporia State (Def. BOB TOMPSON Defensive Coordinator & Linebackers Coach Bob is in his second yea r as a full-time USD assistant where he wi ll again be defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. In addition to hi s coaching duties, he plays a major role in USD's recruiting efforts. Tompson coached USO quarterbacks for two seasons ( 1996, 1997) before taking a position as quarterbacks/wide rece ivers coach in 1998 at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. Before coming to USO he was defensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Montclair Prep HS in Yan Nuys , California for two seasons ( 1994, 1995). The 1994 squad won the CIF Championship. Greg and hi s wife Jeannie have been ma1Tied 2 1 years and have six children: Phil, Nate, Bonnie, Ben, Brittany and Corey. The Quick Family resides in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego.

Bob earned hi s B.S . degree in Physical Education & Health in 1982 from Western Michi gan (he played wingback for four years); and more recently earned hi s M.Ed. (empha– sis in P.E.) from Azusa Pacific. Bob and hi s wife Jeannette have one son , Jam ie (age 8).
