I closely follow new developments and innovations that could be adopted by PORTWEST to improve sustainability. Under my leadership, PORTWEST have recently began to adopt the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals which are a universal call to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. SMETA is a social auditing framework that aims to support responsible business practices across labor standards, universal rights, management systems and health and safety.
