was sheared. Being that the drive on this boat is from a mid-60’s Owen Marine conversion no replacement parts are to be found. An alternative coolant supply system is now being configured. Fin Two (the Mackie with the blue top). The hull underwent an extensive visual inspection for any further possible leakage and the existing repair inspected. Everything looked satisfactory. The top was restrung by Rocky Richards and Mark Schoen requiring 100’ of nylon cord and 4 ½ hours of tedious labor. The hull’s rub rail area was sanded and painted a light blue to cover the many aggressive docking scars. The hull was lightly sanded and painted with antifouling paint and was commissioned on May 9 th . Fin Three (the Stanley “Tin Fin”) A new fuel level sender has been installed but still requires some adjustment (when time allows). The thruster is functioning and does come in handy when docking or leaving in the wind. Parking Lot has finally been cleared of stored vehicles (thanks to all for their cooperation) with it’s entrance graced with a second “No Turn Around” sign to get the point across. Oddly enough this does seem to make a difference in the amount of unauthorized intrusions. No word from Bret Kahl as to grading of the entrance. Mainland Well Leases, approximately two thirds of the contracts have been handed in and paid for the season. There have been two well openings that have become vacant after minor reshuffling and filled by Russ Adams and Tom Altobelli. Emergency Back-up Generator upon check the generator has come up with an error code and shuts down after 15 seconds of operation. The brushes are of insufficient tension and have to be replaced. Repairs are scheduled for the middle of May. Member went to club in 50 mile winds. Can’t do this for safety reasons. Fleet Captain – Ken Lipowski Rendezvous 1 is sold out. Only spots on wall available.
