FAQ’s How knowledgeable are your guides? We take great pride in having the best Interpretive Guides on the island. Our Guides are trained in island ecology,

geology, natural history, in addition to safe driving practices, customer service and first aid. We take great pride in our interpretive approach. Rather than just reciting facts, our guides engage our guests’ senses in amanner that provokes discussion and creates deep and lasting connections between the guest and the places they visit.

What are your office hours? Our reservation lines are open 7 days a week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Our Kona retail store is open from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, seven days a week. Our Hilo retail location is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday. * subject to change

What is your cancellation policy? Our standard cancellation policies: FIT reservations require 48 hours’ notice and Private Charters require 72 hours’ notice. Call 808.881.8505 to cancel a reservation. What happens if it rains? We go rain or shine. Guides always bring raingear for everyone. We only cancel when weather makes transportation or walking hazardous.
