A Message From Pi The University of San Diego is veryproud of the student-athletes that represent our institution on 17 men's and women'sNCAA Division-I athletic teams. These areproudand serious competitors, honored to represent the University. The dedication y ou 1,vitness on theplqyingftelds, on the court, on the course, or in the water isgreat/y matched in the classrooms, the laboratories, on stage, or in the community. Lastyear thirty-two percent of our student-athletes carn'ed a grade-point average above 3.2, and eight of our teams had a cumulative grade-point average above 3.0. Athletics is vital to the University of San Diego, a wqy students, faculty, staff and alumni come together as one community. I am both a universitypresident and a Torero fan,ยท I look forward to sharing the excitement of Torero athletics ivith our mat!)! fans.
