The autumn meeting of the above Society was held at the Royal Dublin Golf Club, on 22nd September, 1938. The following are the results of the Competitions played :— The Incorporated Law Society Challenge Cup. R. G. M. Saunders (79-2), 77; R. H. Ryan (83-6), 77. On the play-off the Cup was won by R. H. Ryan, and R. G. M. Saunders won the runner-up prize. Other scores :—F. J. Farrell (98-20), 78 ; James O'Connor (90-11), 79 ; J. D. Clenaghan (91-12), 79. The Ryan Challenge Cup. Winner—F. J. Farrell (98-20), 78. The St. Patrick Cup. Winner—R. G. M. Saunders (79-2), 77. Fourball Sweepstakes (14 holes). Winners—Messrs. M. S. Matthews and T. O'Reilly—2 up. Runners-up—Messrs. R. G. M. Saunders and M. J. Dunne—all square. In the evening the Captain (Mr. E. S. Lowe) presided at the Dinner held in the Club House. ____ SCHOLARSHIPS, 1938.

The Overend Final Examination Scholar ship (Real Property and Conveyancing) was awarded to Frederick B. McCormick, B.A., T.C.D., who served his apprenticeship to Mr. Henry P. Mayne. The Overend Preliminary Examination Scholarship has been awarded to James J. Byrne. The Findlater Scholarship will not be awarded for 1938.
