Mr. Mac Fhionnlaoich was admitted a Solicitor in 1929. THE SOLICITORS' GOLFING SOCIETY. A Summer meeting will take place at Carlow Golf Links (with kind permission of the Captain and Committee) on Tuesday, July 4th, 1939. Competitions for the Society's Challenge Cup, the St. Patrick's Challenge Cup and the Veteran's Challenge Cup will take place, and entries will be accepted between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A four-ball competition (bogey) will be arranged for afternoon play. The meeting will be followed by a Dinner at which the Captain- elect, Mr. J. D. MacCarthy, will preside. The Acting Secretary is Mr. T. Desmond McLoughlin, 18 College Green, Dublin.
