Dry & Wet Lubricants

Wet or dry from Lubrimetal Lubrimetal has one of the most apposite names in this area of the wire industry and is well-known for the production of special wire drawing lubricants. The company confidently states: “Our brand names Lubrifil (dry lubricants), Lubriol (wet drawing oils), Fosfil and Steelfor (pre-coatings), are synonymous with performance and quality all over the world.”

The product portfolio includes drawing lubricants for ferrous metals (low-, medium- and high-carbon steel and stainless steel): calcium based lubricants; sodium based lubricants; other dry lubricants; oils and greases; and emulsifiable oils for wet wire drawing. Lubricants for non ferrous metals (copper, aluminium, yellow alloys, gold and so on) include emulsifiable oils and stable emulsions for wet wire drawing and oils and greases. Lubrimetal also produces lubricants and other chemical compounds for metal-working, for example: cold heading and extrusion; metal- machining; vibro-finishing and other treatments.

Lubrimetal continues to invest in new formulations for its wide range of dry and wet lubricants ▲

Products for metal surface treatments include: acid pickling inhibitors; phosphating agents; soaps and pre-drawing salts coatings and carriers ( Steelfor range); anti-corrosive agents and de-watering fluids; wiping agents for galvanized wire (charcoal) and additives for copper coating.
