Whether you are a scout troop, youth group, school club, or any other organization, Donna Kargol and her team of volunteers will be happy to meet with you. They will be glad to come with the TOSS presentation, crafts, and more to help educate your group on some simple things to do that will help protect the environment and learn about your carbon footprint. Choose to Reuse 30-Day Challenge

1. Refill my reusable mug and avoid single-use paper and polystyrene cups. If our entire community took action for 30 days, think how much we could keep out of landfills, and how many less trees would be cut down. 2. Drink water in a reusable water bottle instead of using single-use plastic bottles, and slow down the use of fossil fuels. Americans buy more than half a billion bottles of water a week. In a year, it takes 17 million barrels of oil to make those bottles. 3. Shop with a reusable bag. By avoiding plastic and paper bags, we can save up to 99% of the natural resources and up to 98% of greenhouse gas emissions used to make bags. 4. Donate used goods instead of throwing them away. Want to do something simple and easy to address the causes of climate change and reduce our community’s environmental footprint?
