Application Fees There is a nonrefundable $70 application fee for one campus ($80 for international applicants). FeeWaivers The University of California will waive application fees for up to four campuses for qualified students. Students who qualify for fee waivers and who select more than four campuses must pay $70 for each additional campus choice. You can apply for a fee waiver within the online admission application and be notified immediately whether you have qualified.
Dates and Deadlines
++ Provide a complete academic history
Aug. 1: Fall admission application opens
++ Report all coursework attempted from every institution
Sept. 1-30: Submit your Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) for the fall.
++ Explain all gaps in your education in detail
Oct. 1: Filling period for FAFSA and California Dream Act application opens.
++ Do not attempt to convert your grades
Nov. 1-30: Priority filing period for fall. Submit your admission application online by 11:59 p.m. PST on Nov. 30. 5 weeks after filing period: Log in to your admission application and complete your Transfer Academic Update.
++ Select your grading system

March 2: Deadline to submit your FAFSA or California Dream Act application
March-April: Check the student portal to find out your fall admission decision.
