Approved Elementary Math Software

The Utah Legislature has approved funding for the K-12 Math Digital Learning Grant for the 2023/2024 school year. Canyons School District has identified and recommended three, evidence-based programs that schools can choose to integrate into their math skill-based instruction time. The three programs include: Dreambox, ST Math and iReady. In order to maintain the software licenses, schools are asked to follow recommendations for effectiveness from the USBE. These recommendations are in place to ensure students have sufficient access to see the evidence based effects of the computer-based software.

When would the digital math program be used within the CSD math block? The digital math programs, Dreambox, iReady, or ST Math would supplement teacher instruction during skill-based instruction time of the math block. Teacher small group instruction should continue during SBI with software being used as one station. It would not take the place of whole-group instruction of the Utah Core Math Standards using the enVision 2020 curriculum.
