PRIVACY OF YOUR INFORMATION The CMSA as a registered Company Limited in Australia is legally bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APP), established under the Privacy Act 1988 (Act), as well as our existing obligations of confidentiality. The CMSA takes the privacy of individuals applying for certification seriously and seeks to comply with all elements of the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) in its conduct. As part of the application process you are required to read and consent to the CMSA Privacy Policy at www.cmsa.org.au When you apply for certification, you consent to the CMSA collecting, maintaining, using and disclosing personal information about you and provided by you or by another person in accordance with our privacy policy on the CMSA website www.cmsa.org.au The CMSA Privacy Policy explains how the Society collects, maintains, uses and discloses your personal information. It also provides some detail regarding your privacy rights along with the CMSA’s general rights, obligations and policy in relation to the personal information maintained on record. As a Certified Case Manager™ you consent to the CMSA providing the public with access to your name, location and certification status (including expiry date) on the CMSA website www.cmsa.org.au. The CMSA will not publish your email and contact number on our website unless you provide consent to do so. It is your responsibility to advise the CMSA if you wish to provide these additional details to the public and notify the CMSA of changes to these contact details as they occur. To add an email address and contact number to the CMSA website you should send a request in writing to certification@cmsa.org.au It is important to note that should your certification expire your name and full details will be removed from the CMSA website.
