Complete the online survey about how you access CPD Early career speech pathologists are encouraged to compete a survey about how you access professional development support in your workplace. Responses will be used to guide the development of future resources and supports for speech pathologists who have recently graduated and speech pathology students. Get involved Attend the ECRG breakfast at the National Conference The Early Career Reference Group will be hosting an inaugural breakfast meeting for early career students and student members attending the National Conference in Adelaide. This breakfast is being sponsored by Guild Insurance and will be free for members attending the conference.

Multisensory Instruction in Language Arts 1

Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist with an interest in volunteering overseas? Trinh Foundation Australia (TFA) are looking for experienced SLP’s interested in volunteering in Vietnam. We are seeking experienced SLP’s available for 3 or 6 month placements through 2018. Volunteers flights, basic living expenses, visa costs and insurance costs are paid. SLP volunteers should: • Have a degree in speech and language therapy/speech pathology; • Have at least 3 years of professional/clinical experience, preferably in a neurorehabilitation setting; • Be specialized or have specific interest in adult or paediatric neurorehabilitation (specifically, stroke, traumatic brain injury or cerebral palsy). We are also seeking adult therapists with mixed neurology and ENT/ head and neck experience. • Be able to communicate in English. These volunteers placements represent a unique and well supported opportunity to make a difference in an international setting.
