Skeena TV Association (Society) has been granted Licence effective November 22 to conduct “on-air testing” of Digital Television Broadcasting (DTV) on television standard VHF High Band Channel 07, 09,11, & 13 from Seeley Lake Mountain in ATSC format. Re- ceivers with correctly mounted simple outdoor anten- nas, designed for VHS high band may expect to receive service after the connected receiver is pro- grammed to activate transmissions. (Consult your TV manual). For locations visually obscured or of greater distance from Seeley Mountain, antennas with im- proved signal gathering properties may be required. Valid complaints may be directed to the Society @ 250 -842-6076 or 250-842-5344. The name, location & type of problem encountered, will be recorded & referred to resolution. A successful test period will conclude on January 03 if transmissions are considered to meet standards for broadcasting of low powered television Upper Skeena Hospice will have the Memorial Christ- mas tree Dec.1- 22 at Wrinch Memorial Clinic 1-3pm. Women prayer breakfast Dec. 2, 9am @ the Pente- costal Church in Hazelton. All welcome to come share. Come fill the truck! Sunday, December 10 is Human Rights Day & Am- nesty International invites people to write on behalf of people unjustly treated.
