MARCH 2019 BEACON

I can’t think of a better way to usher Winter to the door and welcome Spring into our lives than to see an image of 2 pretty little girls finding 4 Leaf Clovers in the West Lawn of NCYC. Last year one day I found Addie and Bella playing and giggling in the grass over something. Then they showed me several of these charming anomalies of turf they found that morning. I knew right away I had my March 2019 Beacon Cover and my usual St. Patrick’s Day clip art can take a rest. They make a picture of Happiness. Thank you, girls!! Now for the serious adult stuff, we’ve got quite a year of Activities, Rendezvous, Parties, and all sorts of frivolous fun planned for you in the upcoming season. If you haven’t already, make sure to get with our Secretary Frank Corcoran and firm up your OD Work Weekend time, the schedule is filling and you don’t want to end up with a time that’s not easy for you. It is after all the Members working the weekends that make all the fun and frivolity possible. Let’s raise a toast to the “Last Snowflake of the Season” because Addie and Bella have a lot more charms to find.
