MARCH 2019 BEACON

Well we sure have had our share of bone chilling wind, snow and ice this past month. We still have snow forecasted for the end of February and temps in the low 20’s for the beginning of March. A far cry from the weather that all of the NCYC snow birds are enjoying in Florida. I hear that Diane French hosted another successful luncheon down in Bradenton Florida and it was well attended by NCYC members and quest. Thinking ahead it is just seven Saturdays until our first “Elite Brigade”, which is April 13th. Now would be a good time to set your schedules for the date or dates that you can come out to the club to help get the club house and grounds ready for opening day. Don’t forget that you can come out more than one Saturday for your work hour’s obligation, the extra help would be appreciated. While you are setting your schedule, you should also check the O.D. work schedule to see which weekend you are assigned. The O.D. that you are schedule to work with should be in contact with you to go over all the work details for your work weekend.
