Policy Title: ADULT CAREER CLASS FEES OR CHARGES

Student fees for non-state reimbursed adult career classes offered at any location in the District and which are completely funded by student fees will be set at the regular CEU rate of East Central Community College. This rate will be based on the formula of 1 CEU = 10 clock hours of instruction whether CEU credit is or is not awarded for the class. Charges for adult career classes provided for a specific industry or other entity which may or may not be reimbursed by the state must be sufficient to cover all costs incurred. These costs may include any or all of the following: instructor costs (salary and benefits), travel costs, materials, rent, other miscellaneous expenses in direct support of the class, and administrative costs equal to eight percent of all other expenses. Income to cover costs may come from federal, state, client, or other sources.
