F.8 BOOKSTORE MANAGER

General Statement of the Function : The Bookstore Manager reports directly to the Vice President for Business Operations. The Bookstore Manager will serve students, faculty and staff of the College and residents of the College’s District through the provision of textbooks, supplies, and services in the College Bookstore.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare purchase order requisitions and submit to the Vice President for Business Operations for the purchase of textbooks and other items for sale in the College Bookstore; 2. Work with vendors regarding ordering textbooks and other items for sale in the College Bookstore to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately, timely and routed to appropriate College offices; 3. Work with the Physical Plant regarding receiving of textbooks and other items for sale in the College Bookstore; 4. Work with business office personnel regarding bookstore charges to student accounts; 5. Work with financial aid office personnel regarding availability of financial aid to individual students to utilize for Bookstore purchases; 6. Complete and maintain all documentation needed to meet accountability requirements for inventory control and reporting for textbooks and other items presented for sale in the College Bookstore; 7. Perform physical inventory count, as of June 30 of each year, of textbooks and other items for sale in the College Bookstore; and 8. Perform other duties as assigned.
