A red band cover from Honan registered to Hupeh, on front bearing CIP Coiling Dragon 1c orange and 20c claret, tied by char. ‘IMPERIAL POST OFFICE/KAIFENFU’ oval cancel in black, ‘R/No.1979’ registered frame chop in char. The reg. number is written in Chinese format, which is scarce. On reverse bilingual HANKOW/29.4.03’ and ‘WUCHANG/29.4.03’ arrival cds.
