An air mail Gold Yuan postage due cover from Ceylon to Shanghai, bearing Ceylon KGVI pictorial 25c and 50c, tied by ‘OOLOMBO’ cds, alongside ‘FTS’ in black circle, plus bearing the ROC surcharged on 2nd London print postage due stamps $30,000 on $1,000 in large block of 40 (10 x 4) which is larger than the original cover, thus, those stamps were franked on both sides, total rate $1,200,000, tied by bilingual ‘SHANGHAI/24.8.48’ cds.
