Implementing REACH in good time

On June 1 st 2008, the European Regulation 2006/1907/CEE, better known under the name REACH (an acronym of the words Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals) officially came into force. Chemical industries are affected by this new regulation. As creators of substances and formulators, lubricants producers have to comply with this rule and have to follow its process evolution. Lubricant manufacturer, Condat has complied with REACH regulations for over two years, after implementing an action plan to meet the requirements and the deadlines of the statutory terms, and has begun the pre-recording of manufactured and/or imported eligible substances. It is the main objective of Condat to take
