Today’s gaming operators are finding that the pace of change brought about by the Internet of Things, mobile internet, advance robotics, and renewable electricity is astounding.

Skilled-Based Gaming This mash up of slots, videos games and interactive patron play, is bringing a new type of gambling aimed at attracting young people who grew up playing video games. Incorporating skill-based gaming, which was earlier restricted by laws, will provide dynamic games to the traditional casino floor where the payout is determined by the player’s ability. In the U.S., it is legal in 33 states and is expected to become a $9 billion revenue market. Companies such as GameCo., Gamblit Gaming and NanoTech Gaming are leading the way in this space. Bionic Bartenders Tipsy Robot, a 2,500-square-foot bar, opened Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, with two robotic bartenders ready to make your favorite drink. According to Rino Armeni, the owner of Tipsy Robot, “This is the most high-tech bar in the world, as the robot can perform all the duties of the bartender with 100% accuracy and limited waste.” He explains further that, “It is not just a bar – it’s also an attraction and entertainment.” For him, the technology that replaces human jobs, will not replace the human aspect 100%.
