Article 11: Interpretation and Definitions Section 11.5. Terms and Uses Defined 11.4.2. Exceptions and Variations
D AY C ARE C ENTER A building or structure and associated outdoor area where care, protection and supervision are provided for a fee, on a regular schedule at least twice a week, to more than six children or aging adults at one time.
DBH (D IAMETER AT B REAST H EIGHT ) The diameter of a tree four and a half (4.5) feet above ground level.
D ECIDUOUS Plant material that seasonally drops (loses) its leaf material.
D ECK A roofless outdoor space built as an above ground platform, freestanding or attached, projecting from the wall of a structure and supported by posts or pillars. D EDICATION The offer of real property by its owner(s) for a public purpose and its acceptance by a government entity having jurisdiction over the public function for which it will be used. Dedications may be made for streets, recreation areas, parks, greenways, utility easements, etc. D ELIVERED L UMENS Amount of light delivered out of the fixture, which is different from non-LED fixtures that utilize lamp lumens or the amount of light emitted from a light source.

D ESIGN M ANUAL The stormwater design manual approved for use in the Town of Morrisville by the Department for the proper implementation of the requirements of the Jordan Watershed stormwater program, NPDES Phase II stormwater program and other applicable stormwater laws. All references herein to the Design Manual are to the latest published edition or revision.
