It had always been a mammoth task keeping him at bay and Glea was one of the reasons for his hostility. In the days when I’d first moved in there Glea had liked me a lot and Noisy had liked Glea a lot, hence the jealousy angle. Then, over the next few months Noisy and Flake kind of reconstructed a new bad-me figure between the two of them, and when Glea saw me with a girl one night and knew she wasn’t getting anywhere she was miffed and readily joined in. And Aggie being Aggie followed suit. And amazingly, without anything much being said, or at least I don’t see what could have been said as I hadn’t actually done anything that you could put a finger on, I became house victim.
