hia year bu been an outatanding one for the USD cheer team. Not only were their spirit'• high but their moral and ene'IY was working at muimum capacity. New stunta were performed that re· quired a higher level of upertiae. The half time routine that was performed at all home gamea wee dynamic and alwaya caught the crowde attention. The cheer team lead the crowd to one of the most spirited 1porta yean. None of this could have been done without coach, Roaelie Bor· boa. RoBalie bu been with the team for three yeare and bu done an excellent job coacbiq and choreographing. Captain Jody Morgan gained recognition 88 "Cheer– leader of the Year" for all of California and was featured in California Football Magazine. The cheer team put maximum effort into letting the campue know that the spirit level was aoaring by holding a pep rally duriq basketball season and wearing their uniforms to ecbool on game days. As everyone could see, ecbool spirit rose due to the cheer team's enthusiasm.
