This years team recruited several newcomers. Of which, Chris Enger made hermark for her first season in colle– giate competition. She led the Toreras with the most rebounds (228) and competed for the start– ing position of center with her height reaching 6'4". Other additions include Angie Straub and Rachael Chism. This years team showed great promise for next years competition. With only three players leav– ing the lineup, next years team shows great promise and will be hard pressing and competi– tive in the division. SHOOT

he Toreras of Basketball closed the sea– son with an impressive record of 17-10, 7- 7 in the conference. With the players that will return next year, the future looks bright for the Toreras. Their competition included UC San– ta Barbara, U of Colorado, Arizona State, anil Loyola Marymount. . Thisyears team was led by CandidaEchever– ria and Paula Mascari. Last year, Candida was the lead scorer, and she was the lead scorer for this season with a total average of 13.5 points per game. She closed the season by scoring a total of 364pointa, the highest on the team. Paula Mas– cari showed some excellent contribution to the season by leading the team in assists with 89. Debbie Gollnick and Julie Doria will also return to give support to the guards. Returning
