During the late 1990s the company recognised an increased awareness and requirement for security in the international line pipe industry. Pipeline projects increased both in size and global spreading of involved parties. In order to avoid expensive damage to line pipes and limit the risk of accidents, Dhatec designed a full range of products and developed a number of indispensable services to ensure trouble-free line pipe logistic processes. The company specialises in enhancing pipe quality, efficiency and safety of processes such as line pipe production, handling, coating, storage, transport, and installation. This year the company celebrates its 20 th anniversary. Founded in Bergeijk, in the South of the Netherlands, on 1 May 1992, the company originally focussed on manufacturing high quality steel bevel protectors for pipe-end protection of diameters up to 120". The product portfolio soon expanded to new solutions for pipe closure and automatic fixation machines for the bevel protectors.
