Pipe handling made easy It has been a busy couple of months for the team at Pipe Ltd. March ended with a record-breaking Tube fair in Düsseldorf, and April began with the most successful Mach show yet. Managing director Tony Tagliaferro commented, “We have always had a great response to our presence at the Tube and Mach shows, and this year has exceeded our expectations once again. Tube Düsseldorf is a key show for us in the European market, while Mach remains the key welding show for the UK.” Pipe Ltd’s stand featured live demonstrations of the company’s equipment, including its extensive range of pipe jack stands. Pipe has been manufacturing pipe jack stands for nearly ten years, constantly developing and enhancing the range based on customer feedback of increasingly varied demand in the workshop and out in the field. The company’s Tri-Stand is a three- leg base pipe stand that is height adjustable from 27.5" to 48" working height, and is available in two base styles: fixed leg, and folding leg for ease of transportation and storage. Tri Stands

The latest Duo Stands have recently been given a new weight test, enabling them to take up to 2.4 tons per stand. The Quattro Pipe Stand is a solution for transporting heavyweight pipe without the use of a crane. Four optional heavy-duty caster wheels can be added to the base, and when used in conjunction with the chain hold down device to secure the pipe on the stands, the pipe can be moved around the workshop or site with ease. The Quattro is also available with a full range of head styles, enabling rotational or transferral movement of any material of pipe. Pipe Ltd also offers an extensive range of floor or bench mountable ‘trestle’ type stands, for use when the job requires low level pipe support.
