Chapter 26 The Arrival of the Holy Spirit (AD 30)

Shortly after Jesus was lifted to heaven, a group of Jesus’ fol- lowers were gathered in one place together. Suddenly there was a noise from heaven that sounded like the roaring of mighty wind. The promised Holy Spirit had come and filled the believers! With this new power, the followers of Jesus started boldly de- claring the good news of the Kingdom. They taught people to turn away from their sins, to live lives of love the way that Jesus loved, and to be baptized in the name of Jesus.
