Chapter 28 Jesus’ Promised Return and Eternity

Jesus promised to return to earth to establish His Kingdom’s reign forever. Until then, our bodies will age and experience physical death, but not our souls. The Bible tells us that the souls of those who believe in Jesus will live with Him in His Kingdom forever. The Bible also tells of another place. It is called the Lake of Fire (Hell). This is where Satan and his demons and all who reject Jesus as their Savior and King will be cast. Each of us must choose where our loyalty lies. By believing that Jesus was the ultimate and final blood sacrifice, that He rose from the dead thereby defeated death, admitting and turning away from our sin, we declare our loyalty to Jesus, making Him our Savior and King.
