Chapter 29 God Wants All to be in His Kingdom

It has been more than 2,000 years since Jesus died on the cross. God is patiently longing for everyone to know of His great love. He wants us all to turn away from our sin and enter into His kingdom. Now, because of the blood sacrifice of sinless Jesus, all people can be part of His Kingdom. His followers are called Christians, Christ followers. Until Jesus comes again, Christians meet together to worship Him and fellowship together. We break bread and drink the cup together, as Jesus did before He died, and as a reminder of the sacrifice Jesus was for our sins. Christians tell others about His Kingdom and live as citizens of His Kingdom today and have hope of our eternal home with Him forever. Someday, there will be a new heaven and new earth, where Jesus will fully reign as the King of kings and Lord of lords forever!
