Chapter 13 The Promise of God Being King Again (730 BC)

Yet, throughout all that happened, God never abandoned His people or stopped loving them. He spoke through prophets to instruct the nations about how to live according to His ways, and to warn them of the conse- quences if they did not follow Him. It was during that time that Isaiah prophesied about “Good News.” He proclaimed that someday God would once again be their King. Isaiah spoke of a peace that would have no end and of God’s promise to send a Savior, the Prince of Peace.
