SENIOR CORNER Advisory Board Members

Steve Blacksten is a reƟred plumber and Project Manager. He is great with people and is very interested in geƫng more people involved with our Senior Center. Steve also enjoys being a Ham Radio Operator AD7VL. Tom Lynn and his wife, Cris, play cards here three days a week and Tom is our bingo caller! Both Tom and Cris are very acƟve at our Center. Tom has many years of experience in customer service and business management. He is great with people and is very interested in keeping the Sumner Senior Center running smoothly. He is excited to help and give back to the community. Judith McLean is reƟred from City of Tacoma. She is currently a Sumner Senior Center volunteer; current & past board member‐‐Secretary/Treasurer and a volunteer at Christ The King Lutheran Church. Judy has a lot of experience in the areas of accounƟng, computers & secretarial duƟes. Sherryl Pfaff is the organizer of our Red Hat club, “Sisters of Sparkle”. She is becoming more acƟve and involved at the Sumner Senior Center. Sherryl is interested in promoƟng our senior center and helping with various fundraisers. Judy SƟpes wants to be on the Advisory Board to make sure the Sumner Senior Center conƟnues to provide posiƟve programs and implements new ideas for more programs. She wants to get more involved with the people and volunteer. She enjoys playing cards here every Wednesday with her card group.


We want to recognize our Catholic Community Service volunteers for working so hard to make sure our holiday meals (and every meal) are served hot, fresh and with a smile. Thank you for all you do!

doing her own artwork using color to bring life to the painting. She creates a vast array of subjects to include, landscapes and seascapes and animals. She strives to paint pieces that stand out and appeal to the viewer. Linda shows her work in many arenas and is an active member of Mtn. Valley Artists.
