Kerry in the year 1890; in 1901 he was appointed to the combined office of Crown and Sessional Crown Solicitor for the County of Kerry, which office he occupied up to the time of his death. MR. EDWARD ROUNDS, Solicitor, died upon the 10th December, 1913, at his residence, 122 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. Mr. Rounds served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Ambrose Plunkett, 22 Wellington Quay, Dublin, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1898, and practised at 11 Dame Street, Dublin. MR. SAMUEL BROWN, Solicitor, Maghera, died upon the 12th December, 1913, at his residence, Maghera. Mr. Brown served his apprenticeship with Mr. James Brown, Solicitor, Magherafelt, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1891, and practised at Maghera. Legal Appointments. MR. PATRICK ROJJERT KELLY, Solicitor, has been appointed to the office of Clerk of the Crown and Peace for the County of West meath. Mr. Kelly was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1889, and practised at Atlilone. He has filled the office of Crown and Sessional Crown Solicitor for County Westmeath since 1903. MR. WILLIAM EARLY, Solicitor, has been appointed to the office of Clerk of the Crown and Peace for the County of Roscommon. Mr. Early was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1891, and practised at Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone. MR. DAVID M. MORIARTY, Solicitor, of Killamey, has been appointed to the com bined office of Crown and Sessional Crown Solicitor for the County of Kerry. MR. THOMAS J. DOWDALL, Solicitor, of Mullingar, has been appointed to the com bined office of Crown and Sessional Crown Solicitor for the County of Westmeath. MR. CHARLES H, MACRAITH, Solicitor, has been appointed Registrar to the Recorder of Galway.

Court of Examiners and Committees. The Court of Examiners and Committees of the Council for the year ending 2Cth Novem ber, 1914, were appointed, and the lists appear in this GAZETTE.

Council Meetings. MEETINGS of the Council will be held upon the following dates :— February llth and 25th. March llth and 25th. Committee Meetings. Obituary. MR. CHARLES J. MOKPHY, Solicitor, Tralee, died upon the 6th December, 1913, at Cork. Mr. Morphy served his apprenticeship with his father, the late Mr. Edward Morphy, Tralee, and was admitted in Easter Term 1876. Mr. Morphy, who practised at Tralee, was appointed Crown Solicitor for the County of
