Finn-Power LB6系列组合机（早先是Jetcam驱动的）与一台Bystronic激光器连接起来。Prima也是世界上第 一个连接到 Finn-Power Night Train材料管理系统的机器。 拥有不同的CAM系统为公司提出了几个问题。共同所有人Stefano Fuschini评价到：“我们已经使用高性能排 版运行Jetcam，但是并不喜欢在其它机器上的排版。同时，不是我们所有员工都培训了所有系统的使用，文 件格式也不同，意味着我们不方便在机器间移动工作。三个独立的系统很难将不同客户的命令聚到一起。我 们研究了另一个系统的升级，而且也考虑一种替代产品，但是都不如使用JETCAM快速方便。 2009年11月份，公司决定了为Bystronic激光器购买后处理器，并计划了1月份安装。同时，接受Prima Pla- tino的交付，而且试用了一个月供应的软件。这些还是不能交付与Jetcam一样的效率，因此2010年1月，用 于Prima的后处理器安装在两个授权上。该系统是现场定制的，用来将Prima Platino连接到Finn-Power Night Train系统，而且所有员工都经过了培训。Jetcam Orders Controller (JOC) 也安装了，方便员工将为所有机器 组合起来的客户部件和配件创建命令列表。整个过程只需要5个工作日就能完成。 正式运营后，公司立即注意到了带来的好处。其他业务合伙人不再需要花时间编程，可以放手让他把精力集 中在提高现场生产质量和工艺上，同时，另外两个程序员现在每周只花一天时间而不是三天。几何文件一次 创建，带多种加工/成型层，可以用于所有机器排版，同时JOC通过排版部件自动排序，减少了从命令到NC编 码的时间。因JOC提供的组合起来的命令以及高性能排版产生的最优化的排版大大降低了材料浪费。 另一个意想不到的好处是Arlam现在能够达到较佳的部件表面质量。Fuschini先生评价到：“Jetcam处理量功 能，如普通的切割比其他系统好。而且能给你更好的控制部件的切割，实现更佳的零部件质量。” Arlam正将其MRP连接到JOC，并希望通过Jetcam的RCP将其完全自动化。一旦完成，只要命令一下，它将根 据材质和厚度立即排好序用于排版。 Reduced programming time with CAD CAM software update JETCAM International has been developing and distributing its Jetcam Expert range of CADCAM software since 1986. In use in over 70 countries worldwide, Jetcam Expert software supports most CNC punching, laser, plasma, routing, waterjet and flatbed cutting machines, allowing users to program any combination of CNC machines with a single CAM system. Ralu, based in Carnago, Italy, manufactures stainless steel indoor and outdoor furniture as well as providing sheet metal subcontract services. The company has been using Jetcam with a succession of power punch presses since 1997. In 2010 Ralu decided to purchase a Trumpf TCL3030 laser and started to evaluate soft- ware to drive it. Managing director Angelo Rabuffetti commented, “We investigated three systems. Despite running an old release of Jetcam we could see that it was still better than the newer systems. It also had the strongest laser support.” Programmer Marco Quadrelli added, “We explored the other systems deeply and found that it was still easier to create orders, split them by material and thickness and to make nests.” The decision was made in June 2010 to upgrade to the latest release of Jetcam, adding high performance rectangular and free form nesting, converting the licenses from stand-alone to floating and adding a post- processor for the new Trumpf machine. An engineer spent two days on-site upgrading the system, configuring it for the Trumpf and providing training for the staff. SCAP (single component automatic processing) was used to automatically apply a layer of profil- ing information to all existing geometry files, making them immediately available for the new machine. Jetcam Orders Controller (JOC) was also installed, to provide easy creation of order lists. Benefits of the new version of Jetcam included improved logic on the right angle shear module, which halved the time required to program for it. Tool teach mode reduced programming time by 60 per cent for the punch, with the system learning preferred tooling for specific cutting routines. Material utilisation also saw consider- able and immediate benefits. Remnant sheet management allows Ralu to create a database of partially used sheets and intelligently recommend which sheets to use for each job, where previously these remnants would have been thrown away.
