New angle roll with 6" capacity

CARELL Corporation has introduced the 310HV4 angle roll with 6" pipe and 6" angle bending capacity. The fully hydraulic universal roll bending machine features three driven rolls and double initial pinch, with independent hydraulic adjustment of both lower bending rolls and hydraulic powered rotation of all three rolls. Lateral guides are hydraulically powered in all three axes (six directional movements).

Carell universal angle rolls are suitable for rolling standard or special profiles, tube/ pipe and beams in a variety of material types and alloys. Tooling for angle iron leg-in and leg-out is standard. The 310HV4 pictured is equipped with an articulated overhead pendant control arm, allowing maximum operator mobility and safety. The 310HV4 has two LED digital displays to monitor bending roll positions and six

LED digital displays to monitor all lateral material guide positions. Each machine is built with a rugged, rigid and reinforced, one-piece solid steel weldment frame that is stress relieved and then CNC machined. All shafts are made with high strength alloy then heat treated and ground for durability and precision fit. The 310HV drive train is 100% hydraulic, using three independent radial piston hydraulic motors and planetary speed reducers direct coupled to each main roll shaft for 100% torque transmission to the work piece. Hydraulic drive trains require near zero maintenance. The hydraulic drive train features infinitely variable speed rotation, 0-23fpm, using a digitally driven hydraulic proportioning valve and a control panel mounted potentiometer. Hydraulic pumps are driven by a 30hp TEFC IEC high efficiency electric motor. The standard universal bending roll tooling set uses telescoping modular components and includes nine major roll components machined from NiCrMo alloy steel, which is induction hardened for extended life. Nominal roll diameters are 18.75" OD. The 310HV4 weighs 20,500lb and is set up for operation in the horizontal working plane. Machines of size, 6ft x 8ft x 7ft can be placed in a machine pit to afford a lower working height. Carell Corporation – USA Fax: +1 251 937 0957

Heat and corrosion resistant tube

OSCAR Production Group is a manufacturer of heat and corrosion resistant tube and pipe in titanium, nickel alloys and special stainless steels. The company was established from the production and technical facilities of the Tube Drawing Workshop No 4 (TDW-4) of the original Nikopol Yuzhnotrubny Plant (NYTB) Ukraine, which was built in 1975. The company’s products are intended for industries that have severe process applications, such as the nuclear power industry, aerospace industry, chemical and petro-chemical industries, oil and gas exploration and production, ship building and defence industry, in addition to other

industries that require high specification tubes and pipes for difficult applications. Oscar Production Group uses cold forming technology (cold rolling and cold drawing) to produce high quality tube and pipe in titanium, nickel alloys, special stainless steels and zirconium based alloys. The company can manufacture materials with a wide range of specifications, depending on customer requirements. Product sizes range from 0.3 to 133mm diameter, 0.08 to 15mm wall thickness in seamless tubes; ¼" nominal bore to 4" nominal bore in sch 5, 10, 40 and 80 pipe; 16 to 76mm diameter multilayer (2 to 12

layers) tubes, with thickness of individual layers of 0.16 to 0.25mm; and extremely thin-walled and ribbed tubes of titanium alloys in a standard size range. Extra long tubes can be produced depending on customer requirements. The Oscar Production facility is equipped with 60 units of rolling equipment: 10 cold pilger mills, 41 tube rolling mills of roller design and 9 drawing mills.
