F355 The stunning Pininfarina-designed F355 is a rear-wheel driven sports car with a 3496 cc, 90°-mounted V8 that kicks out an exceptional 380 bhp. This new Ferrari was an engineering masterpiece of its time, both visually and in terms of performance. The F355 was first unveiled at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, with its unique five- valve cylinder head that produced impressive torque and better intake permeability, resulting in a much faster road vehicle. With its unique shape and aerodynamic design, the F355 undertook over 1,300 hours of wind tunnel testing before the final body shaping was agreed. The entire aerodynamic design of the car was built and honed around the

underbody: a full-body under tray that was built with the intention of matching the downforce of the front and rear axles. With Pirelli tires, power steering, anti-roll bars, and two switchable driving modes (“sport” and “comfort”) as standard, the original launch price of $130,000 was deemed as exceptional value. Aside from the Berlinetta coupe, Ferrari also released the F355 as a targa top GTS at launch, and later in 1995 the Spider convertible model.
