F12berlinetta Unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the F12berlinetta replaces the 599 series and offers an improved specification of the 599 GTB Fiorano. The 65˚ V12 is more powerful and Produced 2012-present Engine Size 6262 cc Cylinders 12 0-60 mph 3.1 secs Top Speed

improve structural rigidity while also reducing weight. Inspired by F1 design, the F12berlinetta employs aerodynamic technology, developed with wind tunnel testing and extensive computational fluid dynamics simulations (CFD). Downforce is created by the Aero Bridge, an air channel that runs from the bonnet along each side of the car, which also gives the F12berlinetta a notable feature. Aerodynamic drag is reduced by the Active Brake Cooling ducts, which only open when the brakes are hot. On the Fiorano test circuit it was able to achieve a lap in one minute 23 seconds – one second faster than the 599 GTO.

efficient, producing 750 bhp and enabling a top speed of 211 mph. Fuel efficiency has been improved with this car too, in fact it is 30 per cent more efficient than the 599, and Ferrari’s HELE stop-start system reduces fuel consumption when idle. The space-frame chassis was co- produced with Scaglietti, utilizing 12 different aluminum alloys to
