ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS OF GEORGIA PROPOSES TO FURNISH AND INSTALL THE FOLLOWING SCOPE OF WORK:

Pressure Grouting

To perform a grouting program for the purpose of filling the void space beneath 5 patio slabs (3151, 3147, 3120, 3117, and 3109) at Chateau Pointe Apartments. POLY LIFT POLYURETHANE GROUTING 1. Drill a series on ¼” holes through the slab

2. Apply releasing agent in injection area to assure no unintended bonding. 3. Inject expandable slab lifting polyurethane grout under slab in short bursts

4. Re-drill and re inject under slab as needed to completely fill all voids (please see notes and warranty information below) 5. The Slab at 3151 will receive 5 slab lifting piers to raise the slab as close as possible toward its original elevation. 6. Clean work area and remove all work related debris

Engineered Solution of Ga warrants the void fill/slab lift to be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of Three Years from the completion date, provided all the terms of the contract have been met. Precision lift is meant to fill void and attempt to raise treated area. It is not intended to remedy soil movement at an elevation below the treated area. Deeper soil movement could cause additional slab movement within the warranty period. In the absence of geotechnical testing it is impossible to determine the depth of compromised soil. Engineered Solutions of Ga will at no additional cost provide one retreat of any area that experiences vertical movement within the warranty period. Vertical movement is defined by greater than .25”. If soil movement occurs below the elevation of treatment, pressure grouting (deep soil injection) could be required at additional cost. The owner’s sole remedy shall be for one retreat as set forth above. In no event shall ESOG be liable for consequential damages regardless of basis of claims. LIFTING ADDENDUM: The adequacy of a structural lift is highly subjective and outcomes are difficult to predict. Results are based on the “feel” of the Slab.
