EUROLUX NIGHTWATCHER ROBOTIC SECURITY LIGHTING

great for practical and security reasons. They have built in sensors that automatically detect nightfall and daylight. If you’re out during the day and come home at night, the lights are ideal for lighting the front door area and hallway. From a security perspective, these automatic lights give the illusion of activity inside the home and may serve as a deterrent to intruders. There are two different types of day/night lamps available at Eurolux. Both are 6 W LED and have a lamp life of 15 000 hours. The only difference is their base types – one is E27 (G651ES) and the other is B22 (G651BC). Lutec’s range of solar wall lights is a cost effective option that delivers automated lighting. The lights are great for illuminating the perimeter of homes as well as gardens, and require no wiring. They turn on automatically at dusk, but do come with an on/off switch to control the light manually. The Mini LED Spot solar wall light (O458) has an

THE NIGHTWATCHER ROBOTIC SECURITY range includes five se- curity lights, each combining innovative technology with sophisticated lighting design. Originally designed in South Africa, NightWatcher offers enhanced, robotic motion-sensing lighting and every light in the range features different technological functions, enabling users to select the one that is most suitable to their needs and budget. The Robotic NightWatcher 500 is an LED light source which consists 8 x 1 W high power Nichia LEDs. It auto-rotates the LED towards any of the three motion sensor zones to illuminate activity; comes with a built- in photocell; and has a day/night mode selection option. The Robotic NightWatcher 520 is similar to the 500 except that its LED light source is made up of 1 x 14 W ac LED power Nichia chip. The Robotic NightWatcher 700 has the same LED light source and similar specs to the 500 but it comes with a built-in colour camera that

captures 20 second video files of triggered activations, all stored on a removable SD card. It also has a built-in speaker and microphone which has pre-recorded warning messages that are activated when triggered. The Robotic NightWatcher 720 has the same specs and features as the 700 but comes with an LED light source that consists of 1 x 14 W ac LED power chip. The top of the range LED Robotic NightWatcher Pro WiFi security light is made up of 1 x 14 W ac LED power chip. As with the other lights in the range, it has a robotic head function that auto-rotates the LED head towards any of the three motion sensor zones on detection of activity. What sets it apart from the other models, though, is its colour camera with WiFi connectivity for in-home or remote monitoring. It also has a 2 GB card that records up to 500 events. For a simplified lighting solution, the day/night sensor lamps are

adjustable solar panel and spot head, and has three dimmable settings. The Ghost solar wall light (O461) comes equipped with built-in motion sensors to detect activity at night. The Sunshine solar wall light (O462) operates between dusk and dawn and has a PIR sensor of up to 15 metres and a 150° detection zone.

REGENT TO LAUNCH NEW LINEAR TRUNKING SYSTEM REGENT LIGHTING launched the C-Line LED Lin- ear Trunking System early in 2017 and it has proven to be an outstanding alternative for an energy-ef- ficient, low maintenance fitting compared to tradi- tional linear fluorescent in industrial and supermar- ket applications. The company will soon be launching a newer, more cost efficient, S-Line LED Linear Trunking System with lower wattage and minimal reduc- tion in lumen output. The S-LINE will be available in two variations in trunking circuitry with a 5-pin or 8-pin trunking rail allowing for dimming and emergency functionality.
