Step-by-Step

Save a project interim plan.

If necessary, switch to the Gantt Chart view.

Apply the Variance table to the view and drag the split bar as far right as possible. Constrain the 3 Develop Blueprints task so that it starts no earlier than 6/18/18 . Notice that there is now a variance for all the tasks affected by the change.

1. Select the Project tab.

The Project ribbon appears.

2. Click the Set Baseline button.

The Set Baseline drop-down appears.

3. Choose the Set Baseline... from the submenu. The Set Baseline dialog box appears. 4. Select the Set interim plan option. The Set interim plan option is selected.

5. Select the Copy list.

Click Copy .

A list of options appears.

6. Select the fields you want to copy. The fields appear in the Copy field.

Click Scheduled Start/Finish.

7. Select the Into list.

Click Into .

A list of options appears.

8. Select the fields where you want to copy the selected fields. The destination fields appear in the Into field.

Click Start1/Finish1.

9. Select the Entire project option.
