Woodford were quick out of the blocks with back to back wins but were brought down to earth by defeat at Cogenhoe who went on to dominate the group, dropping just two points in a home match with Bugbrooke. The Badgers struggled to repeat their league form leaving the battle for the second place in the quarter finals between Olney and ON Chenecks. Deep into February Chenecks snatched second place in the group with a 1-0 home win over Woodford. Their only slip came in their third match at AFC Kempston and the Walnut Boys were to prove the best of the rest, finishing five points clear of third placed Irchester.
