3D Practise within applicable legislation while recognising and respecting the Client’s right to self-determination within legal parameters.

CM can demonstrate how they have advanced/developed their practice and assessed it against legislation.
CM is able to identify applicable legislation that informs their practice.
CM is unable to locate/ identify legislation/ standards.
CMdemonstrates compliance with all agency/program/ funding body or statutory/ mandatory reporting requirements/legislation. CM can identify examples of statutory/mandatory reporting specific to their area of practice. CM can provide example of assisting Client to access legal advice e.g. independent advocate, tenancy authority, domestic violence. CM can provide examples of when they have supported the Client’s decisions and the Client has been advised of the possible implications of their choices. CM documentation demonstrates periodic risk stratification (risk assessment) and the implementation and review of interventions to enhance Client outcomes. CM documentation demonstrates communication of required statutory or mandatory reporting by CM to the Client and key stakeholders, including the role and responsibilities of all parties. CM documentation demonstrates CM monitors for breaches to legislation by Client and/or key stakeholder and responds in accordance with agency/ program/funding body reporting guidelines and policy/procedures.
