4B Promote the development/extension of resources where service gaps are identified.

CM cannot give an example of a service gap or an example of their role in assisting an agency to address a service gap.

CM uses outcomes data to estimate the level of case management required to support the Client and determine if this fits within the available resources. The CM is able to demonstrate that the interventions support the carer to continue in their role. CM requests a review of case load where the outcomes for the Client may be compromised due to a ‘heavy’ case load.
