4F Practise within guidelines for currently identified evidence based best practice.
CM is able to appraise the quality of the practice information and outcomes against best practice.

CM can demonstrate how they peruse best practices within their agency.
CM identifies issues of quality improvement but does not raise them.
CM can provide examples of changes in own practice that reflect current evidence-based research findings.
CM practises in a manner contrary to current evidence- based research findings.

CM is unable to identify sources of information that identify as best practice.
4G Practise in accordance with the CMSA National Code of Ethics for Case Management and agency/program and/ or funding body guidelines and/or policy and procedures.
GOOD ACHIEVEMENT SATISFACTORY
CM assists in the development of agency policies and procedures that reflect current research.
CM contributes to the development and review of agency policy and procedures. CM can demonstrate access and awareness of agency guidelines, policies and procedures. CM can demonstrate compliance with agency guidelines, policies and procedures. The CM provides input to the development of policies/procedures/ guidelines, based on the available research.
CM does not contribute to the development and review of agency policy and procedures. CM is not aware/able to access agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
CM operates outside of agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
CM develops policies/ procedures/guidelines based on available research.
CM informs the agency of instances where policies/ procedures/guidelines require amendments to reflect the best practices noted in available research.
CM is aware that agency guidelines, policies and/ or procedures contradict available research however takes no action.
