We do have some clubs that have not sent any memberships in yet, and the regional Vice Presidents have a list for their areas to check with those clubs. I have spoken to a couple clubs and with changes in membership people in their clubs they are not sure when to send them in. Our season goes from Oct 1st to Sept 30th. We DO NOT run on the calendar year, as some think. In order for your club to be considered for the annual membership counts and possibly receive an award at the annual meeting all memberships have to be in the office and recorded by the end of March. Here are the numbers as of 1/19/2022 Family memberships- 7,813 Business memberships- 1,803 Total- 15,689 Total by region Coastal 57 clubs- 1,359 Central 56 clubs- 1,564 Northern 34 clubs- 1,779 Eastern 73 clubs- 2,171 and Western 62 clubs- 2,724 We have 245 clubs with memberships sent in and 23 clubs at this point with “0” memberships There are 11 clubs with 100-150 memberships. These are Benedicta, Blue Ridge Riders, Caribou, Fryeburg Area SC, Madawaska, Northern Timber Cruisers, Pis- cataquis Valley, Portage Lakers, Presque Isle, Red Arrow and Windham. Note that six of these clubs are in the Northern Region! Way to go Northern! There are two clubs, Bridgeton and Washburn, with 150 -200 members, one club, Moosehead, with 200-250. THE TOP CLUB AT THIS TIME IS RANGELEY LAKES with 888 MEMBERS!!!! Only a couple months to go to get your club in to the top memberships by region before the Annual meeting. Make sure you get them in soon!
