SEWN BUFFS GENERAL PURPOSE

• Muslin with 1/4" spiral sewing. • The versatility of this buff makes it acceptable for use on both cut and color operations. • Approx. 3/8" thick. • Most commonly used for cut down on metals and plastics.

• Cotton muslin discs are held together with one row of sewing around the arbor hole. • A soft flexible design makes this buff suitable for high luster finishing with rouge type compounds.

White Rouge: An excellent “medium dry” coloring compound. Produces a brilliant high gloss finish on all metals and plastics. (Buffs recommended – Jewelers Buffs and Loose Buffs) Tripoli: General purpose compound for moderate cutting and good luster on brass, copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. (Buffs recommended – Spiral Sewn or Disc Buffs) Stainless: Fast cutting and good coloring action on stainless and other steels. It is the coarsest and most aggressive compound made. (Buffs recommended – Spiral Sewn Buffs) Red Rouge: For coloring gold, silver and other precious metals. Excellent for final coloring of any metal. (Buffs recommended – Jeweler’s Buff and Loose Buffs)
